Quest Boards by Made in Mars Made in Mars is a rethinking of what a board sports company is all about. Due to our “alien” company culture, we embraced the “Made in Mars” name. Looking around we saw a lot of companies in our Biz, many that were doing a good, and sometimes even a great job at making boards and trying to fit into the “Action Sports lifestyle”. This was all great, but it just wasn’t for us. We design and make our own product, so we know what we are asking you to spend your money on. Next we wanted to offer the best of the tradition brands, and by working with some of the real pioneers of the Skateboard, Surf and Snow Board world, help reinvent them using today’s best components, great fresh art and new technology. We also dreamed up a couple of brand new initiatives, because one size never fits all. We did all this, keeping better components and the highest quality. 5 star but not perfect I am going with 5 stars because of price. This complete longboard has very nice wheels nice trucks and the deck is really nice as well. The deck is concaved and is real solid, has minimal flex, killer graphics(looks more like a $100 plus board). The grip tape is on the cheap side and cut back on the top of the round edge exposing the wood edge of the deck on the top about 1/4in. so I will be replacing that and cutting the tape the right way. deck looks nice, trucks are garbage. I really like this deck but the poor build quality of the trucks have caused several problems. One of the trucks has a sliver of metal from the hanger that extends along the bolt. When the wheels and bearings were attached, they were forced over this and damaged the stock bearing and washer on that wheel. I needed to use a screw driver to pry that bearing free and found that i wouldnt be able to put a new bearing on. I’m going to need all new trucks. Also to note if you get this board, all the…
